Breasts, Boobies, & Tatas: Tips to Keep them Healthy

October! My favorite month of the year.

Here in SE Asia, I’m certainly missing home and the colorful spectrum of falling leaves, hot apple cider, and brisk autumn air.  But I’d be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy slipping on a bikini last week and sunbathing in the Singaporean sun!

Sunbathing in Singapore

Speaking of bikinis, I’m reminded October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.  As I mentioned on social media, I’m sharing a few simple prevention tips for all of us (men included!).

Taking preventative measures, I strongly believe we can lesson the amount of breast cancer diagnoses (currently 1 in 8 women).

DIY Natural Deodorant Spray

I live in the tropical jungle climate of SE Asia. Here the weather is either HOT or HOT & RAINING. Every day.  Everyone sweats here, it's part of life.

I’ve gotten past embarrassed about sweating, but not so far as to STOP caring about stinking.  This is my recipe for an effective, natural deodorant spray:

In 1oz spray bottle fill:
•1/3 Filtered Water
•1/3 ethanol Alcohol
•15 drops melaleuca essential oil
•15 drops lavender essential oil
(I prefer dōTERRA oils).

Application:
Spritz 2-4 times on each underarm and allow to dry. Apply fresh out of the shower & reapply as needed.

Note: this is not an anti-perspirant (those block your pores so you don't feel moisture under your arms.  They’re typically made out of aluminum - not good for open pores in your underarms). The antibacterial properties in the essential oils and alcohol will lessen odor on their own.  They smell so fresh and clean also. 🌿

Keep in your bag for quick application throughout the day.
